Assam NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025: The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Assam, is set to announce the Assam NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment results on August 6, 2025. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status and download the seat allotment list by visiting dme.assam.gov.in, using either their application number or username and password. The seat allotment results will detail the assigned institution, applicable fees, and other relevant instructions for reporting. The seat allocation will be determined based on candidates’ preferences, the availability of seats in participating colleges, and their scores in the NEET UG 2025 exam.
After that, candidates must report for admission within the stipulated timeframe. During physical reporting, they must bring along the original documents submitted during registration for verification. Failure to report or provide required documents on time will lead to disqualification from the ongoing counselling process.

After downloading the Assam NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025, candidates should keep a copy of the allotment list for future use. Once they check their allotted seat, they will have the choice to either accept it by freezing or choose the upgrade option. Candidates who choose to freeze their seat must take admission before the given deadline without fail. Those who want to upgrade will need to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their participation in the next round.
However, candidates opting for upgradation should keep in mind that while they can take part in Round 2 and may get a better seat, the chances are lower since many seats will already be filled in Round 1.
