Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025 Registration Last Date: Only 4 days remain before the online registration closes for Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025, on June 7, 2025. On May 19, 2025, applications for Assam Polytechnic admission started through the DTE Assam website. For the 2025-26 academic session, students will be directly admitted to the three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology course at the state government polytechnic colleges based on their Class 10 (HSLC) marks in Mathematics and Science, as the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) has been scrapped since 2024-25. Students applying are required to have passed or be appearing in Class 10, with Mathematics and Science as mandatory subjects.

To pay the application fee, candidates will need to use their net banking service, credit card or debit card, and the fee is Rs 300/-. All required documents must be ready for upload before starting the application process to avoid any unnecessary delay. As there are 21 diploma programs with 4,385 available seats, this is a good chance for students who want to pursue technical education in Assam. After the registration deadline, those who qualify will be listed on the merit list, and admission will be handled through counselling sessions with scores from the qualifying exam.

Instructions for Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025 Registration

Candidates can find below the instructions to complete the registration for Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025:

• Access the DTE, Assam, website and under the “Admission into State Government Polytechnics for the session 2025-26,” choose the registration and form filling link.
• Click on "New Registration" and read all the Instructions carefully.
• Candidates must fill out their names in capital letters.
• Candidates must provide their email address, phone number, a password, mobile number and solve the captcha to complete the registration.
• Following registration and clicking sign up, candidates will get an OTP (one-time password) on their email and/ or mobile device.
• Enter the OTP and the captcha to complete the registration process.
• On successful registration, a registration number will be allotted to the candidate. Please note the registration number for future use.
• When registration is completed, candidates may login using their email ID and password that they had entered during the time of registration.

Note: Applicants must correctly enter their email ID and mobile number because it will be used for ongoing communication till the admission process is completed. It is not DTE Assam’s duty if any important information does not reach the candidates due to a wrong email ID or mobile number entered at sign-up.
