Associate Professor From Assam Awarded Bharat Excellence 2016 Award

Dr. Arati Barua from Assam, who is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Deshbandhu College, University Of Delhi, has been conferred with the Bharat Excellence 2016 award by Friendship Forum (FFI) for her excellence in her field of activity and enhancing the image of India. The ‘Bharat Excellence Awards’ is instituted by the Friendship Forum of India, a New Delhi-based social & cultural organization focused on bringing about greater unity, integrity and collaboration among Indians.

This award carries a citation, an award and a Gold Medal with (Certificate of Excellence) (Certificate of Felicitation) for the year 2016 and was presented by Honorable Choudhary Randhir Singh, former Governor of Sikkim, organized by Friendship Forum (FFI) in a National Conference on “Economic Growth & National Unity” in New Delhi on 25th April 2016. The award ceremony was attended by many Educationists, Intellectuals, and Industrialists etc.

The ‘Bharat Excellence Award’ recognizes the various achievements, excellence in business and extraordinary contribution made by individuals and institutions towards the Society and National Welfare.

Previous recipients of this award include Sunil Dutta, Khursheed Alam Khan, Justice PN Bhagwati, Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand, Sunil Gavaskar, Manik Dastoor, BKS Iyengar, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan etc.
