CBSE Practical Exam Dates 2026 for Winter-Bound Schools: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the 2026 practical exam schedule for winter-bound schools, Class 10 and Class 12. These practical exams, project work, and internal assessment tests will be conducted between November 6 to December 6, 2025. Students from winter-bound schools are those located in high-altitude areas, and their school calendar varies distinctly from the regular schools. Schools must ensure that only the students listed in the online List of Candidates (LOC) are eligible to appear for the exams. Practical exams for non-winter-bound schools will begin from January 1, 2026, onwards.

The practical exams for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted according to the following tentative schedule -

Guidelines for CBSE 2026 Practical Exams for Winter-Bound Schools
Schools and students must follow these steps to ensure a smooth conduct of practical exams.
Step 1: Check the online List of Candidates (LOC) to confirm eligibility.
Step 2: Make sure all labs are equipped with appropriate equipment, instruments, and safety equipment.
Step 3: Schedule practical exam dates according to the CBSE schedule.
Step 4: Follow CBSE requirements, follow discipline, and be safe.
Step 5: Gather project reports, practice records, and assessment sheets.
Step 6: Request outside examiners or observers if needed.
Step 7: Enter marks correctly through the CBSE portal, and double-check before submission.
Step 8: Check to make sure the answer books and assessment sheets are delivered to the regional offices and will be received on time.
