Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, all schools, colleges, and anganwadi centres in Chhatisgarh to remain shut. The state government has released an order stating that schools to be closed again and all students to be promoted without examination except for classes 10 and 12. The CGBSE class 10, 12 board exams 2021 will be held as per the schedule and in offline mode.
All the schools in the state will be closed from 21st March 2021 until further notice.All students will be given general promotion to the next class without conducting the examination.The school and college administrations of the state have been asked to follow the guidelines and notice regarding coronavirus thoroughly
The order further stated that the class 10, 12 board exams will be held in offline mode as per the schedule decided by the board while complying with all the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the state and centre government.
The reason to promote the students without exams came after there has been a sudden increase in the COVID-19 cases.CM Bhupesh Baghel has instructed everyone to increase mask, social distancing and corona test.
