CITS Round 2 Admission 2025: Choice filling begins on July 15, seat allotment date

CITS Round 2 Admission 2025: The CITS Round 2 Admission 2025 process is set to begin with the start of the choice filling window on July 15, 2025. Eligible candidates who have cleared the All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) and are listed in the merit list can login to the official NIMI portal to submit their preferences for institutes and trades. This choice filling phase will remain open until July 18, 2025, giving applicants a limited period to carefully prioritise their options based on seat availability and personal preference. Following the completion of choice filling, the seat allotment result for Round 2 will be announced on July 19, 2025.

Candidates can check their allotment status by logging into the portal using their credentials, i.e. User ID and password. Those who receive a seat in this round must proceed with the next step, which is physical document verification, scheduled from July 22 to July 25, 2025. It is mandatory for candidates to report in person at the designated NSTI or RDSDE center with all required original documents and photocopies for verification. Failure to complete this step within the stipulated timeframe may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat. After document verification, an online transfer round will be conducted on July 26, 2025, to address any vacancies or seat changes arising from non-reporting or withdrawal.
