In a bid to help ease the burden on the students and reduce the stress caused due to the difficult entrance tests, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has decided to change the CLAT 2020 exam pattern.

CLAT or Common Law Admission Test 2020 is an undergraduate entrance test that is conducted by the National Law Universities in India. Through CLAT 2020, candidates will be able to take admission to one of the premier law institutes, i.e. NLUs in India.

Statements from the Proctor of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, Jalaj Goantiya, declared that the decision had been made to make the exam pattern of CLAT 2020 “less complicated”. He added that the exams which cause undue stress on the students should not be welcomed. Moreover, they are testing the scope of designing a more effective exam pattern for CLAT 2020. Other statements have added that the changes in CLAT 2020 are looking towards shortlisting more competent candidates for the programmes.
