The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 was conducted on July 23, 2021. CLAT 2021 final answer key was out on July 27 and the CLAT 2021 result was announced on July 29. The CLAT 2021 counselling began on July 29 and candidates could register until July 30, 2021.

The exam date of CLAT 2021 was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The CLAT 2021 admit card was released on July 14, 2021. Many law entrance exams were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country and CLAT is one of them. CLAT is the most popular law entrance examination in India with over 70,000 test-takers every year.

CLAT Round 4 Counselling Begins

CLAT 2021 fourth seat allotment list has been published and aspirants can secure admission in this round until August 18, 2021.


August 13, 2021

CLAT Round 3 Counselling Begins

The third seat allotment list of CLAT 2021 is out and all students who have featured on the seat allotment lists released by the NLUs can complete their admission formalities until August 14, 2021.


August 9, 2021

CLAT Round 2 Counselling Begins

The CLAT round 2 counselling will continue from August 9 to August 10, 2021.


August 1, 2021

CLAT Round 1 Counselling Begins

The first seat allotment list of CLAT 2021 is released and admissions will be offered to candidates in this round until August 5, 2021


July 30, 2021, 3:00 PM

CLAT 2021 Counselling Registration Ends

Candidates could register for the counselling of CLAT 2021 until 3 pm on July 30, 2021.


July 29, 2021

CLAT 2021 Counselling Registrations Begin

The registration for CLAT 2021 counselling process has begun and candidates who aspire to secure admission to an NLU must register and pay the counselling fee.

CLAT 2021 Begins

The CLAT 2021 exam has started at 2 pm and will end at 4 pm. Students who reach the exam centre after 2:15 pm will not be permitted to take the exam.

4,321 Candidates to Appear for CLAT 2021 in Bihar Today

CLAT 2021 is all set to be held across 7 test centres in Bihar today. Around 4,321 candidates from the state are expected to appear for CLAT UG and PG admissions. According to the Vice-Chancellor of CNLU, justice (retired) Mridula Mishra, 5 CLAT Exam Centres in Bihar are meant for candidates appearing for UG Admissions while 2 are for candidates interested in PG admissions.

A petition was filed for the postponement of CLAT 2021 and the Supreme Court rejected the plea. It was declared that pushing ahead the exam date of CLAT 2021 did not seem appropriate at this stage.

Only Analog Wrist Watches Allowed at the Exam Centre

Candidates appearing for CLAT 2021 are only allowed to wear analog wrist watches to the exam centre. Any other electronic gadget or watch is not permitted.
