CSAB 2024 Special Vacant Seats Release Time: As per CSAB 2024 special rounds schedule, the vacancies after JoSAA Rounds have been postponed to July 31, 2024 . Candidates wishing to appear for the CSAB special round 2024 to secure admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can check the available vacant seats on or before 10 AM as the registration will open at 10 AM. Two special rounds by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will fill the remaining NIT+ system seats after the 5th round of JoSAA. NITK Surathkal will conduct these rounds online and candidates must register again at the official website- csab.nic.in . Do note, the process involving registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, and payment of fees, for these rounds is different from JoSAA rounds.

Candidates must keep their login credentials confidential to prevent misuse. CSAB-2024 is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the credentials. Incorrect information may lead to cancellation of allotted seats and ineligibility for admission, with potential legal action. Reservation rules follow Government of India norms. Candidates with unverified documents during JoSAA rounds can update their details during CSAB-2024 Special Rounds Registration. Those whose category changed to General can request to restore their original category with valid certificates.
Candidates securing a seat in CSAB Special Round 1 can register and make payment of the special round enrolment fee (IAF-I + SRPF), and choice filling between July 31 (10 am) and August 2, 2024 (5 pm). The deadline for the choice-filling process is August 3, 2024 (5 pm). Based on the choices seat allotment result for CSAB Round 1 2024 will be declared on August 5, 2024.
