FIIB Participates Faculty Development Programme Workshop on Financial Modelling at IIM Kozhikode

Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) participated in the Faculty Development Programme workshop on Financial Modelling for a week at IIM Kozhikode.
Dr. Asheesh Pandey, Faculty in the area of Finance, having a rich experience in industry, research and teaching.He also holds experience in Investment banking, Equity Research, Finance and Operations attended the workshop. He attended the Faculty Development Programme hosted by IIIM Kozhikode from 1st February to 5th February 2016.
The theme of the workshop was “Financial Modelling Using Excel”. It was a very insightful and informative workshop where everyone got exposed to various techniques of Financial modelling using excel. The various topics covered under it were related to corporate finance, portfolio management, risk management, fixed income securities and derivatives.
Dr.
Pandey has also authored a book, “Capital Market and Financial System in India”. He has contributed over more than 15 research papers in the area of capital markets, market efficiency, equity valuation, asset pricing etc. in national and International Journals like Vision, Management of Labor Studies, Abhigyaan , Paradigm, Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance (AAMJAF) and Asian Journal of Finance and Accounts (AJFA) to name a few.
He has also presented papers at national and international conferences and seminars. His research interests are Corporate Finance, Equity Valuations and asset pricing. He has also attended various FDPs and workshops to improve his teaching at the college and research skills.
