GATE and IIT JAM 2025 Exam Centre Changed in THIS Location: Check details here

Indian Institute of Roorkee and IIT Delhi shared an update on changes in the exam centre for IIT JAM and GATE 2025. According to the latest notification, candidates who have chosen Prayagraj center will now take Lucknow as their exam centre. GATE 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from February 1 to February 16, 2025. IIT Delhi announced amendments in IIT JAM exam centre on their official website as IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled for February 2, 2025 .

Both the national level entrance exams will now be shifted from Prayagraj centre to Lucknow. As per reports, the main reason guiding this big move is the ongoing Mahakumbh celebrations.

Here’s a detailed update on GATE 2025 and IIT JAM 2025 exam centre change

IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee notified the test takers appearing for JAM and GATE exams starting from Feb 1 and Feb 2 regarding changes in the exam centre. The notification stated that due to the Mahakumbh festivities at Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, a huge swarm of devotees might make it challenging for the students to reach the exam centre on time.

Due to Mahakumbh Celebrations, around four exam centres for JAM 2025 and five centres for GATE have been shifted.

Will Fresh Admit Cards be Released for GATE and JAM 2025?

Fresh admit cards for GATE and IIT JAM have been released at the respective websites. Students are requested to visit gate2025.iitr.ac.in and jam2025.iitd.ac.in to download the hall tickets.

Test takers must carefully review the changes in the new exam centre details before downloading the JAM and GATE 2025 admit cards. Only students allotted Prayaraj centres can download the new admit cards while for rest, centers will remain unchanged.
