Gauhati University B.Ed Result 2025 : Gauhati University will release Gauhati University B.Ed Merit cum Result 2025 on August 1, 2025, as per the latest official notification. Initially, as per the first schedule, the result was to be released on July 26, but it was then postponed to July 28 and conveyed a notice released early morning. Again, GU posted a notice by late night on July 28 that the result is now postponed to August 1, 2025.
"It is for information of all Heads of the Colleges/Institutions affiliated under Gauhati University that GUBEDCET-2025 provisional result will be declared on 01-08-2025. This has the approval of the competent authorities of GU," the official notice reads.

The result will comprise the name of the candidates, marks obtained, merit rank, their qualified status, and other relevant details. Candidates are required to scrutinize the details meticulously and report any discrepancies found to the conducting authority to facilitate rectification. The result calculation will involve awarding 4 marks for each correct answer and deducting 1 mark for each unattempted or incorrect response. The total marks will be calculated out of 400, with cut-off marks set at 80 for the unreserved category and 60 for the reserved category.
