GUJCET 2023 Notification Released: Check Major Highlights and Schedule

GUJCET 2023 NOTIFICATION: GSEB board on January 02, 2023, released the notification for GUJCET 2023 examination on its official website @gseb.org . The entrance exam will be conducted in an offline mode at 35 examination cities in the state. The syllabus for GUJCET 2023 is the same NCERT Class 12 syllabus adopted by the board since 2021-22. GUJCET 2023 will be conducted in three separate shifts as per the subjects. The application forms for it will open online at gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org on January 06, 2023 and can be submitted until January 20, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 350/-.
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test or GUJCET is a state-level undergraduate engineering and pharmacy entrance examination through which admissions to Gujarat’s colleges for B.E/B.Tech and B.Pharma are done. The exam is conducted annually, usually in the third week of April.

GUJCET 2023 Notification Highlights
Aside from the schedule, the following are the major highlights of the entrance examination:
- The candidates who have passed the class 12 examination or are currently appearing for it in a nationally recognized board are eligible to register for GUJCET 2023 exam.
- There has been no change in GUJCET exam pattern. Each subject will have 40 questions, each for one mark.
- Only physics and chemistry papers will be conducted together for two hours duration while mathematics and biology will be conducted separately for one hour each as stated in the schedule above.
- All questions will be MCQs with four options, out of which only one will be correct.
- There will be negative marking in the examination. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. In case, the candidate marks more than one option in the same question, one mark will be deducted instead of 0.25 marks.
- A simple calculator will be allowed to be used for calculation during the exam.
- The application fee must be submitted online at the official websites only and it must be paid online using SBIePay gateway only.
