IIM Raipur Faculty Engages in AACSB International Accreditation: The Indian Institute of Management, Raipur, organized a two-day workshop as a part of its strategic journey towards earning the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International accreditation. The workshop aims to strengthen the academic quality, global engagement, and institutional processes.

The AACSB International Accreditation was acknowledged by Dr. Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President and Chief Officer, Asia Pacific, Americas, and Membership, and Shri Prathap Das, Regional Head for South Asia. More specifically, Dr. Perry brought a global perspective on accreditation, whereas Shri Das addresses insights on AACSB International Accreditation to the South Asian Higher Education landscape.

The program is shaped in such a way that the AACSB standards and the international practices can be understood. It enhances the cultivation of culture, so that the faculty can be engaged with students' learning, program-level goals, and the development of clear rubrics.

Regarding the AACSB International Accreditation workshop, Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director-in-charge of IIM Raipur, stated that Workshops like the AACSB were difficult to shape, not only as a static approach but also as a constant reflection cycle, alignment, and improvement. In short, the workshop played a major role in delivering the world-class education. Most importantly, the AACSB International Accreditation would not only maximise the quality of academic offerings but also enhance the global presence and partnerships.

Along with it, the sessions also highlighted the benefits of systematic documentation, stakeholder involvement, as well as data-driven decision making. In turn, the faculty members can also explore the discipline-specific applications. The primary focus was on refining the AoL system for assessing the competencies, like digital proficiency and analytical skills. In addition, the emphasis was mainly on determining the professional presentation and ethical messaging, and integrating the soft skills within a broader business context.

The workshop demonstrated the dedication towards the IIM Raipur for constant improvement, global engagement, and impactful research since it is moving forward in achieving the AACSB International Accreditation.
