IIM Sirmaur Second Anniversary: Director Expresses Gratitude towards Staff and Students
- IIM Simaur recently celebrated its second year anniversary where the director took an opportunity to express gratitude towards the staff and students of the institute.
- Dr. Neelu Rohmetra will hold the office for the next five years.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur celebrated the second anniversary with great zeal and enthusiasm on September 6, 2017. A large number of arrangements were made by the institute for the same. The second-anniversary celebrations of IIM Sirmaur witnessed outstanding performances by Krutikesh Javir, Vaishnavi Deshpande, Pankaj Bisht and Martin Sema.
Addressing the students and teachers on the occasion, Director of IIM Sirmaur, Dr. Neelu Rohmetra congratulated them for achieving this milestone and expressed her gratitude towards all those who have been instrumental in laying the foundations of the institute. She hoped that IIM Sirmaur would produce entrepreneurs and leaders for the future and play a vital role in contributing to humankind and society.

As a part of the second anniversary celebrations, IIM Sirmaur also expressed gratitude towards leaders and eminent personalities who have contributed immensely to the institute. These included: -
- Professor Rajesh Aithal Chairman of MDO Programmes (IIM Lucknow)
- Professor Ajay Garg (Professor at IIM Lucknow)
- Dr. Arjit Prasad, Director of IIM Lucknow
- All the visiting faculty from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow

Director of IIM Sirmaur thanked them for their support during the early stages of the institute. She also thanked the administrative and support staff of the institute for being the tower strength since the inception of the institute in 2015.
Dr. Neelu Rohmetra is the first women to head an IIM in the country. Her appointment was made in February 2017. She will hold the office for five years or until the attainment of the age of 65. Earlier, she was the professor of management at a business school of Jammu University.
