The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has emerged as the top Indian institute in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Sustainability Rankings 2026, securing the 205th position globally with an overall score of 83.1. This achievement showcases IIT Delhi's commitment to sustainability and its efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. Following closely are IIT Bombay at 235th rank, IIT Kharagpur at 236th rank, IIT Madras at 305th rank, and IIT Kanpur at 310th rank.
