IMA Pune Introduces Certificate Course in Diabetes
Indian Medical Association Pune to hold certificate course in Diabetes. The certificate course in Diabetes has been especially designed for doctors to update their knowledge.
Indian Medical Association - IMA Pune will start a certificate course in diabetes for doctors. The certificate course in diabetes will start in March. The certificate course has been designed to keep the doctors updated.
Diabetologist and Surgeon Ararti Shahde have provided technical aspects for the certificate course in diabetes. Padma Iyer, Surgeon and President of IMA Pune branch informed that the certificate will be useful for doctors to enhance their knowledge and update their skills.
Rajkumar Shah, Secretary IMA Pune Branch shared his views on the same. According to him, with the increasing human life span, the complications are increasing as well and the number of diabetic patients is rising simultaneously due to unhealthy lifestyle habits, stress and others.
Therefore, it is very important for non-diabetologists to have knowledge about the respective field and keep themselves updated. The main purpose of the IMA branch is to expand their knowledge and enhance their skills as diabetic cases are increasing day-by-day in the country.

One of the other medical experts, Meenakshi Deshpande, another Secretary IMA Pune Branch, said the certificate course in Diabetes is the need of the hour. Diagnosing, screening and treatment of diabetes have become a necessity for the doctors irrespective of their speciality. The course will provide them with an extra edge and will also boost their confidence.
