Gender

Must be an unmarried male

Nationlity

Must be:

• A citizen of India, or

• A subject of Nepal, or

• A person of Indian origin from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East Africa, etc., intending to settle in India.

• Gorkha candidates from Nepal may not need a certificate of eligibility.

Age Limit

• Must be between 16½ years and 19½ years on the first day of the course.

• Born between 02 July 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both inclusive).

Educational Qualifications

• Must have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognised education boards.

• Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025

Additional Criteria

• Must not have been debarred by UPSC.

• Should not have a criminal conviction or be involved in any court case.

• Candidates should not marry until the completion of full training.
