The INI CET January 2026 expected topic-wise weightage analysis reveals that certain subjects will carry more weightage than others. For instance, Medicine is expected to have 18-20 questions, Surgery 15-16 questions. In the pre-clinical phase, Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry are expected to have 10-15 questions each. The para-clinical phase subjects like Pathology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology will also have a significant weightage.

The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The total marks for the exam will be 200, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
