Instituto Marangoni Mumbai Fashion & Design Training Centre is going to organise two significant events namely ‘Taxi Fabric Workshop’ and ‘Design Dare Competition’. More details about both competitions can be checked below.
Instituto Marangoni Taxi Fabric Workshop:
At Taxi Fabric Workshop, 20 designers will be divided into two groups. The workshop will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until 6:00 PM. Within nine hours, two groups will have to create a taxi under the guidance of mentors. Finally, the Taxi Fabric Team will take deigns of two groups and create the fabric overnight.
The Taxi Fabric Workshop will take place on June 18, 2018, at Instituto Marangoni, Mumbai. Candidates who are interested to take part in the workshop will have to fill up an online application on the official website of Taxi Fabric – Instituto Marangoni on or before June 15, 2018. Out of the total number of applicants, 20 designers will be selected for an exclusive hands-on workshop. Finally, the best designer will have a chance to design his or her own taxi.
Instituto Marangoni Design Dare Competition:
The competition is conducted for all aspiring fashion designers, stylists and enthusiasts. The theme of the contest is “Fashion Mutation”. In this competition, the participants will have to show a “fashion transformation” of any accessory/ person/ object. The participants will have to think of a fashion makeover, which can be hairstyle, clothes, tattoos etc.
Candidates who are interested to take part in this competition must note that they will have to illustrate / sketch/ doodle/ insert photographs documenting the before and after stages of the subject. The entries can be digital artworks, photographs or prints. The participants must note that only three entries are allowed and group submissions are not allowed.
