Maharashtra NEET PG Choice Filling 2025 for CAP Round 1 Begins; Check important dates, steps to fill preferences

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 CAP Round 1 Choice Filling: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, has officially begun the NEET PG 2025 Choice Filling for CAP Round 1 today, November 25 . Eligible candidates who have completed the registration and document verification process can now log in to the counselling portal for Common Entrance Test (CET) and fill their choices for admission to MD/ MS/ MDS/ PG Diploma courses under government, private and minority medical colleges in Maharashtra.

The choice filling window for CAP round 1 is active for a limited period, aspirants are advised to complete the process before November 27 . Seat allotment shall be made based on merit (NEET PG Rank), reservation category, availability of seats and the order of preference of seats filled by the candidate, and incomplete and unsubmitted choices will not be considered for the seat allotment.

Follow the steps below to complete your choice filling process smoothly

• Visit the official website of Maharashtra CET Cell PG counselling, mahacet.org and log in with your credentials.
• Check the Modified Round 1 seat Matrix to know the seat availability.
• Now open “Preference/Choice Filling” from your dashboard.
• Add colleges and courses to the preferences list in the order of your preference.
• Verify all your choices thoroughly before you submit for the final time.
• Confirm your preferences by locking your choices before the deadline.
• Download the locked choice filling slip and keep it for your records.

Candidates are allowed to modify their options as many times as they want during the window and will not be able to make any changes after the locking deadline.

Following the conclusion of the choice-filling period, the seat allotment process will be carried out by the authorities, and the Round 1 allotment result will be released on the official website. Candidates who are allotted a seat are required to download their allotment letter and report to the college for fee payment and document verification as per the stipulated schedule. Dissatisfied with the allotment, a candidate also has a choice of upgradation in the later rounds.
