Maharashtra Police will soon release the Maharashtra Police Recruitment 2022 notification for the recruitment of 20,000 vacancies. On September 27, 2022 it was confirmed by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He stated that the department will recruit 8000 positions in the first phase and the remaining 12000 positions after the first phase through the Maharashtra Police Recruitment 2022 under the state police force.

CM Ekanth Shinde stated that "For many years, police recruitment was held up. So, we made a decision to fast-track recruitment. We are going to fill up 70,000-75,000 posts. Out of these, 20,000 will be police recruitment,"

The Maharashtra Police department will publish the detailed notification soon on the official website. Candidates must ensure to go through the eligibility details provided in the notification before registering themselves for the job. Applications must be should read the eligibility and other important instructions before applying for the job.

Besides this, Deputy Chief Ministry discussed the upgradation of infrastructure and security system. He stated the government will improve the infrastructure with the changing times and technology for cyber security. Also, the number of CCTV cameras is to be increased in numbers and the Semiconductor Manufacturing Unit of Vedanta Group shall also be shifted to Ahmedabad. He also stated that some changes are required in the Jail Department as well.

According to the official statement, “A forest officer would also receive an ex-gratia of Rs. 3.30 lakh if a wild animal attack leaves him disabled, while Class C and D employees of the department will receive Rs. 3 lakh each for the same circumstance”.
