Eligibility Criteria and Application Fee for NIFT 2026
Applicants for the NIFT 2026 exam should check the detailed information about the eligibility criteria & fee structure for the NIFT entrance exam, which is as follows.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For UG Programmes (BDes and B.F.Tech), the candidates should have either completed their 12th Standard or equivalent from any recognised board, or they should appear for the exam.
- For PG programmes (MDes/MFM/MFTech): Need to possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognised University.
- Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying exams can also apply.
- There is no age restriction for PG courses, age restrictions are only applicable for some undergraduate programmes as per the rules.
Application fee:
- General / OBC (NCL) fee: Rs.2000
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories: Rs.500
- Late fee (if applicable): Rs. 5000
