Non-Engineers Enter Top 20 League of CAT 2017 Toppers

For the first time in years, a new trend has been witnessed in CAT 2017 . Many non-engineers made it to the list of top 20 in CAT 2017 exam. According to the official data disclosed by IIM officials, two females and two non-engineering candidates made it to the list of top 20 CAT 2017 toppers. Whereas, top 20 CAT 2016 toppers were male and engineers.

Female students entering into the list of top 20 toppers is what Indian Institutes of Management had been eyeing since a long time. A few experts expressed that the Quantitative Ability section of CAT 2017 was easy, and this made non-engineers to score top percentile in CAT 2017.

IIM Lucknow conducted CAT 2017 and the results were out on January 08, 2018. Many students from engineering , commerc e and management backgrounds scored well in the CAT 2017 for the admission to IIMs and other top B-Schools in the country.

Apart from IIMs, other popular B-Schools across the country announced admissions to postgraduate management courses.

The candidates who have scored top percentile in CAT 2017 are expected to get calls from top IIMs across the country. The selection process after CAT will commence soon.

Nine new IIMs will release the details of Common Admission Process (CAP) on January 25, 2018.
