PM Modi Inaugurates Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology at Noida
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, inaugurated the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology. The institute aims at providing modern facilities to students from all over the world. It is built on an area of 25 acres.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 9th March 2019, The university is situated in Greater Noida in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The Prime Minister delivered the address and said that the institute will be providing modern and advanced amenities not only to the research scholars and students belonging to India but to students from all around the world. He further informed that Noida has been transformed completely now. The city is popular for its development and for creating several employment opportunities for youth.
According to him, Noida is being developed as the nation’s hub of Make in India. While talking about the technological advancements being made in Noida, the Prime Minister mentioned the presence of numerous electronic companies and the world’s largest mobile factory in the city.

Narendra Modi told everyone that the country’s biggest airport is under construction in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. When it is built and completed, the Jewar airport will be economically beneficial to the state of Uttar Pradesh while also bringing the ease of living. In his words, a new India is being created.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology is a state-of-the-art institute which is spread over an area of 25 acres. The cost of its construction is estimated to be Rs. 289 crores.

The institute has an auditorium which can seat 1,000 people at a time, an Archaeological Museum and also an open-air theatre. The Institute of Archaeology (IA) is a prominent academic wing of ASI which falls under the Ministry of Culture. The students are given a challenging, enthusiastic and supportive atmosphere in the institute so that they are enabled to achieve their maximum potential in Archaeology.
