Ranbhoomi 2016 - Sports Event of FIIB

Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) organised its Annual Sports Meet on 8th January 2016. It is always the grandest and the most awaited event in the institute.

While giving the information a spokesperson of the institute said, “At FIIB Delhi, we consider sports as an integral part of the growth of an MBA student and hence every year, the Sports Committee of the college organises two major events when everyone comes out of the classroom and enjoys a weekend of sports. Cricket Sangram is the annual Cricket fest where graduates and the Faculty/Staff of the college form cricket teams and play while Ranbhoomi is the annual sports event with a variety of indoor and outdoor sports including Chess, Carom, Badminton and others for the MBA graduates to compete in.”

Apart from commemorating victories, sports meets also aim at imparting lessons on sportsman spirit and camaraderie to students. The day was filled with exciting victories and near misses for all the participants.

As the students’ wild cheers rent the air, the participants, with grit and determination, raced to achieve victory and glory. The most awaited event of the day, the Cricket match, saw - Team B of the first year batch clinching the gold medal, while Team B of the first year batch stood second.

The day ended with a cheerful note, heralding the year 2016, also filled with promises for all the young sports enthusiasts.
