RUR World University Ranking 2020: IISc in Top 100, Performance of Indian Institutes

RUR (Round University Ranking) 2020 has been released. This year, around 829 institutes across the globe have participated in the rankings. The performance of Indian institutes is noteworthy in RUR Ranking 2020. IISc (Indian Institute of Science) Bangalore has secured 62nd rank in RUR Ranking 2020, and there has been an improvement in rank compared to the previous year. Last year, IISc Bangalore was ranked 84. The only Indian institute secured a spot in top 100 was IISc Bangalore and it has been featured in Diamond League.

Some of the institutes/ universities showed considerable improvement in the RUR Rankings 2020 than 2019 edition. IISc Bangalore has been improving its ranking since 2018. It is good to see that top Indian institutes have been making an impact at the global level in varied aspects such as education, research, innovation etc.
Teaching, Research, International Diversity and Financial Sustainability are the four key aspects on which the participating institutes/universities are evaluated.
