Dear Parent,
Based on the trends of previous years and expected cut off for the 2025-26 session, it is very unlikely to get admission in any of the 7 IISERs as the cut off ranges between 110-130 for general category students. The minimum cut off expected this year for the general category is between 95-105 for IISER Berhampur. However, students must attend the counselling sessions to explore any hopes. For further details related to admission in IISER, kindly click here.
Dear Student
If you are unable to attend the exam due to medical or family emergencies, unfortunately, there is no provision for changing the center or taking the exam at a later date. Next time, during the application, select your preferred centers carefully and as early as possible. And, if you have a medical emergency, always obtain a certificate and inform the authorities immediately after the admit card is released.
Yes, you can take the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) in Hindi. The exam is conducted in both English and Hindi languages. This allows candidates to choose their preferred medium for the test. For more information on IISER Aptitude Test, please visit: https://www.collegedekho.com/exam/iiser-aptitude-test.
Yes, for the IISER aptitude test, the biology section is compulsory for all candidates, including those from a computer science background. It's important to prepare for that section, as it will be part of the overall evaluation.
Hi,
Unfortunately, No, you cannot get admission to IISER through donation. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune is a premier institute with strict rules on entrance based admissions. The selection process is solely based solely on the candidate's performance in entrance exams like JEE Advanced, KVPY, or the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). However, you can explore other colleges that take admission without an entrance exam.
