•Memorandum of Understanding was signed on January 31, 2017 between JIS University, Kolkata & Swach Environment Private Limited, Kolkata and also with Carnegie Waters Inc., Pittsburgh, a company registered under the laws of the United States of America.
•The Parties have agreed to jointly
–(a) study and understand the air and water pollution in the River Ganges at different locations as identified by the use of latest generation remote sensing Artificial Intelligence (AI) based systems;
–(b) collaborate on mutually agreeable terms, through the formation of a specially incorporated entity, the management and shareholding of which will be included in the Definitive Documents (as defined hereinafter)
–(c) work as a Research partner for the said collaborative project for monitoring real time water and air quality (“Proposed Project”), through a consortium comprising of Swach, Carnegie, JIS and other entities from India and around the Globe that may be agreed upon mutually.
