Vaagdevi Degree College Students Excel in UG Results

Second year UG students of Vaagdevi Degree College, Jaggayapeta, Krishna District, secured excellent marks in the UG 2 ^nd year results released by Krishna University. College management conducted a press meet to congratulate the students. College principal, B. Suresh gave an analysis of the results.

He said, “An overall pass percentage of 86 have been recorded in the UG 2 ^nd year results. The college has been securing excellent results every year. All the departments of UG secured excellent results. It is because of the dedicated and sincere efforts of college faculty. The college has excellent and experienced faculty. The college has good placement percentage. A total number of 89 students secured in campus placements conducted in the academic year 2015-2016”.

Toppers of the college:-

• CH Geetha Pravallika of B.Sc. secured 90.66% and stood as the topper of the college. she secured 408/450 marks.
• Y. Lakshmi of B.Sc. (BZC) secured 85.33% and stood in the second place. She secured 384/450 marks.
• K. Lakshmi of B.Sc. (Microbiology) secured 84.22% and stood in the third place. She secured 379/450 marks.
• K. Bhavani of B.Com Computers secured 80.88% and stood in the fourth place. She scored 364/450 marks.

Students were congratulated by the College management and faculty members. Students thanked the college management and faculty for being supportive.
