SVNIRTAR PGET Selection Process and Counselling Process

Admission to the post-graduate programmes offered by SVNIRTAR is done on the basis of score obtained in the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by the institute.

Selection Process:

• Selection for the PG programmes will be done according to the merit list/ waiting list generated on the basis of marks secured in SVNIRTAR PGET.
• Other entrance exams are not considered for selection round.
• If multiple students score similar marks in PGET, then the merit will be evaluated on the basis of the following:

1. The candidate who scored higher marks in Final year/Semester/Part-IV in BPT/ BOT/ B.Sc.(PT)/B.Sc.(OT)/BPO will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
2. In case there is a tie in (i), the candidate securing overall higher marks in BPT/B.Sc.(PT)/BOT/B.Sc.(OT)/BPO will be ranked higher in the merit list.
3. If there is a tie in (i & ii) mentioned above, the candidate elder in age will be ranked higher in the list.

Counselling Process:

• The institute will prepare a separate merit list for MPT, MOT as well as MPO programmes.
• Candidates will be asked to report for counseling at SVNIRTAR according to the merit list.
• Candidate shall choose the specialization in relevant course (MPT/MOT) at the time of Counseling.
• Admissions to either of the courses will be confirmed only after verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the applicant during the time of counseling.
• The final decision regarding eligibility will be taken by Chairman-Cum-Director.
