• LATEST | As per the latest updates available, School Holiday on December 18 has not been declared in any district. For isolated regions experiencing heavy rainfall, students and parents are advised to contact the school authorities.

• The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for four districts in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu, due to heavy rain expected on December 18, 2024.

• Very heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected in these districts.
