The Telangana Department of School Education (DSE) has advised the candidates to fill up the TG TET 2026 application form before the deadline ends. Those who have not completed their registration must apply by November 29, 2025 . The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test, popularly known as TG TET is an essential qualifying test for aspirants who wish to become teachers in government and private schools from Classes 1 to 8.
The department has also declared that from November 24, 2025, the TG TET 2026 application form correction window will be available for the candidates to make changes in the application form. The correction option will be available for a limited period only, i.e., December 1, 2025 , and no further modifications will be accepted after the deadline. So, candidates should double-check everything before submission to avoid any discrepancies during the verification of documents.
The TG TET is conducted in two parts: Paper I for primary teachers (Classes I to V) and Paper II for upper primary teachers (Classes VI to VIII) . Eligible aspirants can take one or both exams. The test is designed to measure a candidate's teaching potential and general knowledge of the subjects needed for effective teaching in the classroom.
