On 1st June, at pacific hills, thousands of students came from all over India for securing their future. It was time to get job. Udaipur’s prominent Pacific University conducted a huge Job fair on 1st June2016, where 102 multinational and national companies mark their presence.
10 thousand 371 students got registered for this job fair from all over India. And 7 thousand on spot interviews conducted by different companies managers and recruiters. All the day there were fairy atmosphere in university. In university campus, many students waited for their turn, many of them got selected but actual numbers not reveled yet by officers.
There were two stalls established in campus by which students get informed about employment opportunities. In job fair, many students came from Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh, as well as from different districts of Rajasthan.
Job Fair Coordinator and controller Prof. Mahima Birla said that this is the first job fair in north India in which many big national companies came for recruitment. In fair many companies executives and HR managers were present there such as ICICI, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, HCL, Flipkart, Micromax, Reliance retail etc.
Pacific University’s Secretary Mr. Rahul Agrawal informed that all companies are agreed to join this job fair, the only reason behind it was all streams students are easily available here at pacific.
Interviews conducted on the basis of streams, companies took interviews of students from different classes. MBA, BBA, B.Tech, Hotel Management, MSW, Polytechnic, Commerce, Science, Arts graduates, BCA, MCA, and Pharmacy students were participated in this job fair.
Registrar Mr. Sharad Kothari said that due to this job fair, many students will get employment. He also added that 13 companies late submitted their registration so the students interested for those companies, we took their resume, and will inform them when the interviews for those company will scheduled.
