TNEA 2025 Notification likely after HSE (+2) results, official website launched
TNEA 2025 Notification will likely be released a day after the HSE (+2) results announcement. The official TNEA 2025 website, tneaonline.org, is now launched and will soon be updated with the registration notification, among other details.
TNEA 2025 Notification:
It is expected that just one day after the Class 12 (HSE) results are announced, the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025 notification for registration will become available. The TNEA 2025 website, tneaonline.org, has been launched ahead of time and will display complete registration and counselling guidelines once the notification is out. TNEA is a centralised online admission process, which the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) of Tamil Nadu manages to admit students throughout state engineering colleges and their departments, other constituent colleges, and government-aided colleges. The TNEA 2025 application procedure requires students to do the registration, fill out the online application forms, upload documents in the prescribed format, and pay registration fees. The registered candidates will be eligible to participate in choice selection and seat allocation during counselling rounds.
Meanwhile, students can check below the important eligibility criteria to complete the TNEA 2025 Registration once the notification is OUT:
- Aspirants need to finish their studies at Class 12/HSC level or equivalent standard while holding Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects at a recognized educational institution.
- Students who are part of the general category need to achieve at least 45% in their Class 12 exams while students from the reserved category need to score 40% or higher.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- The state of Tamil Nadu grants native status to its students completing classes VIII to XII in local schools regardless of needing a nativity certificate.
- Candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu but studied any of the above-mentioned classes outside the state must present an authentic digital nativity certificate.
- Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are qualified when their parents submit self-declarations.
- The children of public sector and government-approved institution workers who maintain continuous employment in Tamil Nadu for five years can receive admission eligibility regardless of domicile status through proper documentation.
- Students from other states attending Class VIII through XII in Tamil Nadu educational institutions can apply without presenting a nativity certificate.
- Students who possess a 3-year engineering diploma obtained after finishing Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate scores can apply provided they have passed their 12th grade with the required percentage for eligibility as mentioned above.
- The selection process relies on normalised marks that candidates earn in Mathematics (100 marks) and Physics (50 marks) and Chemistry (50 marks) in the qualifying examination.
