TNEA Random Number Release Date 2025: The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, will release TNEA 2025 Random Number on June 11, 2025 . The TNEA random number is a unique, computer-generated identifier assigned to each registered candidate. This unique 10-digit number helps break ties between candidates with similar scores and will be issued to those who have completed the registration form and submitted documents before last date. Its primary purpose is to resolve ties among candidates when other tie-breaking criteria are exhausted. To check their random numbers, candidates can log in using their email ID and password at tneaonline.org . The random number list ensures a fair ranking process.

In TNEA 2025 counselling process, ties between candidates are resolved through a series of conditions. The tie-breaking criteria are applied in the following order: marks in Mathematics, Physics, optional subject, total marks in the 12th Standard examination, and date of birth (with preference given to the elder candidate). If the tie still persists, the TNEA random number is used as the final tie-breaker, with the candidate having the higher random number value given preference.
The TNEA random number, generated by the authorities, is a fixed and unalterable component of the counselling process. As it serves a specific purpose in resolving tie-breaking situations, candidates cannot request changes or modifications to their assigned random number. Candidates must verify certificates at TFC’s (Online) between June 10 and June 20, 2025.
