TSCHE and Australia Sign MoU for Joint Research Projects

With the motive to promote joint research projects, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday with Gold Coast Australia.

The step will not only promote good relations between Australia and India, but it will also help exchange knowledge and academic resources. The joint research projects will help develop mutual interests in research fields between Australia and India.

Prof. T. Papi Reddy, chairman of the TSCHE said that the initiative will help create job opportunities for Indian students visiting Australia. He also said that the objective of the plan is also to develop a world-class academic environment in Telangana and prepare consolidated programs with Gold Coast Australia.

CEO of Gold Coast Australia, Alfred Sloogrove mentioned that the MoU will also help conduct joint seminars and workshops in both the countries for the benefit of higher education.

Meanwhile, TSCHE was visited by a team of Atlanta, US. The team included people such as Elliott Paie, Director, Air Service Development, Eric Tier, Manager, Airport Business Advisory in Cambridge, US, TJ Jackson, Airport Manager and Travel Industry Engagement, Srikanth Badiga, Director of Phoenix Group, Hyderabad, and CS Shika Sabharwal who is the Branch Secretary of the Indo-America Chamber of Commerce.

A discussion on the higher education facilities in India and particularly in Telangana took place with Prof Reddy. V Venkata Ramana, Vice-Chairman-II of TSCHE and Prof R Limbadri were also present in the meeting.

Prof. Reddy said the guests were interested to conduct student exchange programs with 50 other universities in Atlanta, United States.
