UPSC ESE Application Form 2026 Releasing Today: The Union Public Service Commission is set to open the application process for UPSC ESE 2026 today, September 17, 2025 . Eligible candidates shall fill out UPSC ESE Application Form 2026 before the deadline, October 7, 2025 . Only registered candidates will be eligible to appear for the exam scheduled for February 8, 2026 . Candidates should note the important details related to the registration process below and fill out their application forms accordingly. If details submitted by the candidates or the documents are not as per the application form, the application will be cancelled.

Here are some of the important details to be cross-checked before filling out UPSC ESE Application Form 2026:Online Application:
- To apply for the Engineering Service Examination, a candidate must fill out an online application and provide the necessary information and supporting documentation for some claims, including date of birth, category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, or ex-servicemen), educational background, and any other information the Commission may request.
- Candidacy for the exam will be cancelled if the necessary information or documents are not submitted with the online application form or during the Commission's rectification window, if any.
- A photo ID card, such as an Aadhaar card, voter card, PAN card, passport, driver's license, or any other card issued by the state or federal government, should be provided by the candidate when completing the online application.
- It is recommended that the candidate bring this photo ID card when they attend the examination or personality test, as it will be used for all future reference.
- The age requirement for this exam is that the candidate must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30.
- Age relaxation for the reserved category candidates will be applicable.
- The candidate's photo must be uploaded no more than ten days after the online application procedure began (i.e., the application beginning date).
- Verify that the candidate's name and the date of the photo's capture are prominently displayed on it.
- The face of the candidate should take up three-quarters of the image.
- At every step of the examination process, including the preliminary (stage I), main (stage II), and interview/personality test, candidates must make sure that their appearance matches their photo.
