VIT- AP Introduces New Courses, BBA Business Analytics in List

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT-AP) has introduced courses in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), animation, business and others. The institute has started BBA in Business Analytics, Animation and Media and B.Tech in AI.

Apart from this, VIT-AP has also come up with courses in animation and visual effects (VFX) and gaming in association with Toonz. The BBA Analytics course will be offered in collaboration with Arizona State University.

All the new courses introduced by VIT-AP will start from the 2019 academic year. Dr. G Viswanathan, VIT Chancellor informed about the same at a press a conference held at the VIT-AP university. He further talked about the open book exam pattern for engineering courses and that is a better way of conducting exams rather than traditional way which only makes the students reproduce the knowledge without any innovation and creativity.

According to him, the traditional way of conducting exam does not do justice to the knowledge and is not the right way. The aim is to match the exam pattern with the outcome-based framework that education and industry have adopted.

The BBA in Business Analytics at VIT-AP will commence from 2019 academic year at the Amaravati Campus. It will provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge about business analytics.

Meanwhile, twelve universities from Australia, Spain, UK and USA are offering students with an opportunity of international transfer programmes. The B.Tech students of VIT-AP will be offered 6 months and 9-month internship programmes.
