VIT Andhra Pradesh Gives 100% Fee Concession to District Toppers
The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), in Andhra Pradesh, has declared that it will be giving a fee concession of 100 percent to two students. One female and one male student who have topped at the district level will be given a full fee waiver.
The Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh has announced that it will be giving a fee concession of 100 percent to one girl and one boy student who are the District Government College toppers in the course of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech).
Sankar Viswanathan is the Vice President of Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, which is a private university located in Amravati. He said that the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation, commonly known as G V Foundation, has offered concession in fee to the district toppers of Andhra Pradesh.
The meritorious students will be called by the authorities for an interview based on the marks they secure in their class 12th (intermediate) board exams. After conducting interviews for all the students, the officials will select one female and one male student and publish the results for all of them. The two selected students will get a full fee waiver at Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh.

The education fee and admission fee of the two students that are selected after the interview will be exempted by a full 100 percent. Their mess fee and hostel fee will also be exempted. Books will be provided to these two students from the book bank.
The students who are the VITEEE rank holders and have obtained ranks in the range of 1 to 50 will be given a concession of 75 percent. Students with ranks in the range of 51 to 100 will be given a 50 percent concession in fee, and those who have received ranks in the range of 101-1,000 will receive a 25 percent fee concession.

The first phase of online counselling at Vellore Institute of Technology of B.Tech courses began on 9th May 2019. The second phase of counselling will resume from 10th May 2019 to 11th May 2019 and then from 13th May 2019 to 15th May 2019.
