DU’s 5th Cut-off Released, Popular Courses Not Yet Closed
The Delhi University has announced its fifth cut-off for admissions to various courses offered in the session 2016. This was the last cut-off that the university was released, unlike previous years when the varsity released up to ten cut-offs. The final cut-off 2016 was announced on Tuesday night, July 19.
As a change of events, there are still seats available in some of the popular courses offered by the premier colleges affiliated with DU. There has been a dip of 0.25 to 5% in the fifth cut-off as compared to the fourth cut-off. Check out the colleges still offering some of the most popular courses.

Ramjas College that had the highest cut-off for the B.Com (Hons.) course offered by it, still has seats vacant in the course and now offers the course at 75.75%. Among other colleges that are still offering the course are Lady Shri Ram College for Women LSR (96.75%), Hindu College (96.50%), Sri Venkateshwara College (95.75%), Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (95%) and 33 other colleges.

English (Hons.), the most popular course, is available at prominent colleges like Lady Shri Ram College for Women (96.25%), Hans Raj College (95.75%), Kirori Mal College (95%), Ramjas College (94.75%).

Most colleges had closed admissions in their History (Hons.) course but it is still available at Lady Shri Ram College for Women (96%), Miranda House (95.25%), Ramjas College (94%), Kirori Mal College (93%), Daulat Ram College (92.75%), Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (92.75%), Gargi College (92%) and 11 more colleges.

Although popular colleges such as Miranda House, Sri Venkateshwara College and SGTB Khalsa College have close admissions to their Mathematics (Hons.) programme, popular science colleges such as Hans Raj College (96%), Lady Shri Ram College for Women (95.75%), Hindu College (95.5%), Ramjas College (94.5%) and Daulat Ram College (94.50%) are still offering the course.

Hans Raj College (95.33%), Sri Venkateshwara College (94%), Daulat Ram College (94%) and SGTB Khalsa College (93.33%) are among the 10 colleges that are still offering Chemistry (Hons.) course. Other colleges are Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Dayal Singh College, Maitreyi College, Moti Lal Nehru College, Shivaji College and Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women.

Zoology (Hons.) is available with only four colleges including, Daulat Ram College (93.66%), Hans Raj College (95%), Maitreyi College (91.33%), Shivaji College (91.33%). Miranda house has closed admissions to its science courses except for B.Sc Physical Science for which 92.67% is required to get admission.
