    Miranda House Admission 2022-23

The first step for the Miranda House admission process for the undergraduate courses is to clear the CUET UG exam. The CUET UG result 2022 was published by the NTA, on September 16, 2022. The result can be checked on cuet.samarth.ac.in. Now, since the results are out, the college will prepare its individual merit list along with the counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the Common Seat Allocation System portal or the CSAS portal as the next step of the Miranda House admission 2022. Apart from this, they also need to fill out the Miranda House admission form 2022 for CUET courses. The detailed admission process through the CSAS based on the CUET result is mentioned below:

    • The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) admission process is being conducted in 3 phases.
    • The first phase consists of applying to the University of Delhi (DU).
    • The second phase requires the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by students.
    • The third phase is the tentative allotment of seats followed by admission confirmation.
    • Candidates must note that the admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared by the NTA on their CUET Result 2022 scorecards.
    • The programme-specific merit scores of students will be auto-calculated by the university based on the eligibility criteria.
    • The CSAS phase 2  was open from September 26, 2022, to October 12, 2022. In phase 2, students had to select their preferred courses and college combinations.
    • Both, phase 1 and phase 2 of CSAS DU  remained open till October 12, 2022.
    • As per the DU and CUET Samarth guidelines, students should select as many choices of courses and colleges as possible during the second phase of CSAS. This is advised to avoid problems during seat allotment.
    • After the preference-filling phase of CSAS portal 2022 will be over, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
    • This will be the CSAS phase 3 of the Miranda House admission process 2022.
    • Apart from this, a two-day correction window will be open from October 11 to 13, 2022.
    • A Preference-change window will open from October 14 to 16, 2022.
    • CSAS First allocation list will be declared on October 18, 2022.
    • An important step during the Miranda House admission procedure is the acceptance of seats by students. They must accept their seats within the mentioned dates which are October 18, 2022, to October 21, 2022, for the first round of CSAS seat allotment.  In case they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from their end and the seat will be given to the next eligible candidate.
    • The PG admissions will be based on the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET)
    • The DUET PG 2022 exam will be held on October 17, 19, 19, 20, and, 21, 2022, as per official reports.

    Miranda House College Reviews

    J
Best College in DU for English (H)
    By Jayita Ekka

    5

Overall: Miranda House is the best thing that could have happened to me. Besides academics, MH taught me to be a woman of the world, instilling the right set of ethics and ownership to be a good leader, manager and a responsible citizen. The college encouraged me to come out of my shell and face the challenges head-on.

Infrastructure: From making us meet the industry stalwarts to giving us a platform to showcase our talents, MH has set a standard on how quality education should be like! The college boasts of a well facilitated auditorium, an immensely happening canteen, Nescafe counter, sprawling lawns for studying/ chilling, in-house laundry service for the hostelers, clubs and societies and many other things.

Faculty: Experienced, knowledgeable and varied teaching methodology, the faculty of MH taught us using audio-visual help, be it movies, documentaries, inviting guest speakers, educational trips etc. The quality of education, with time-bound tutorials and the opportunity to get personal attention for growth, Miranda House teachers will not leave any stones unturned to hone your skills.

Hostel: Beautiful lawns (esp in winters...MH has won awards for its meticulous lawns!), where you can bask in the sun with a book & an orange is one of the best memories that i have. Besides this, preparing for the Fresher's Night or Hostel Night every year, lining up fun events, exploring the spookiest corners of the hostel, staying up late and looking for tuck in the middle of the night, playing pranks on the Warden & Matron and some other things not mentionable here, makes MH my best experiences so far! And not to mention the friends that I've made there (these friendships last forever, btw)...I am really happy that I decided to study in MH.
