The herbal garden, verdant green lawns, and expansive playgrounds at the 10-acre Shivaji College campus are among its most notable features. To reduce the campus' carbon footprint, the college has implemented a number of environmentally friendly policies, such as a prohibition on plastic, a smoking ban, no-vehicle admission, and tree planting. Shivaji College uses solar panels, water harvesting pits, and paper recycling systems to make the campus eco-friendly rather than using non-renewable resources. The other facilities provided at the Shivaji College campus include a bank, healthcare centre, spacious classrooms, cafeteria, laboratories, auditorium, etc.
The institution offers its students a dynamic faculty that motivates them to learn outside of the classroom and gain experiences. Library and Reading Hall: The well-resourced campus library consists of over 1 lakh books in various disciplines, 6,000 journals, 97,000 e-books, magazines, and newspapers. It also includes two air-conditioned reading halls with computers and an internet facility.
Laboratories: Modern well-equipped laboratories for science courses are available. Four air-conditioned computer science labs new and updated software and high-speed internet access are provided.
Cafeteria: The cafeteria is a good spot for students to socialise. The food is affordable and hygienic.
Auditorium: The Shivaji College campus has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with an audio-visual system, projector, and stage lighting arrangements. It has a seating capacity of 400 students. It holds extracurricular, cultural, and educational activities like seminars, lectures, plays, movie screenings, debates and departmental festivals.
Sports Facilities: The Shivaji College campus has one of the large playgrounds under Delhi University. Various games such as cricket, football, basketball, chess, table tennis, athletics, and volleyball take place on the grounds.
