The final placements 2018-19 at top engineering colleges in India have commenced. Here is the final placements report of BITS Pilani, DTU, NIT Warangal and SVNIT Surat.
The final placement process at non-IIT institutes across the country has commenced. Top engineering colleges have recorded good placement numbers this year. BITS Pilani, Delhi Technological University (DTU), NIT Warangal and Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) witnessed the participation of top national and international companies this year. Usually, the final placements at these institutes begin in the month of August every year. The institute wise placement details are elaborated below.
BITS Pilani Final Placements 2018-19
Among the top engineering colleges, BITS Pilani student bagged the highest international package of $137,000 (Rs. 98.3 lakh) per annum from KPIT Technologies. The first month of final placements at BITS Pilani witnessed the participation of top international companies such as KPIT (Germany), Uber (US) and Rubrik (US).
The total number of offers at BITS Pilani final placements 2018-19 increased from 384 to 450 this year. On the other hand, the pre-placement offers increased from 88 (2017-18) to 126 this year.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) Final Placements 2018-19
At Delhi Technological University (DTU), the final placement process has commenced on a great note. So far, 75 students have been hired by popular companies with an annual package of Rs. 20 lakhs and above.
HOD of Training and Placement at DTU, Mr. Rajesh Rohilla revealed that the highest international package offered to a DTU student this year was Rs. 53 lakh per annum. Adobe offered the highest package, while companies like Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra offered packages around Rs. 24 lakh per annum. Goldman Sachs is offering salaries around Rs. 30 lakh per annum.
NIT Warangal Final Placements 2018-19
Faculty In-Charge of Training and Placements at NIT Warangal, Mr. Chintham Venkaiah revealed that DE Shaw offered the highest package of Rs. 47 lakh per annum this year. So far, 30 companies have taken part in the final placements and have offered 240 jobs. More companies are keen to take part in placements, he added.

SVNIT Surat Final Placements 2018-19
DE Shaw offered the highest domestic package of Rs. 33 lakh per annum at SVNIT Surat final placements this year. This year, a bunch of new recruiters participated in the final placements such as GEP, Credit Suisse and Amadeus. These companies offered annual packages of Rs. 7 lakh and above.
