QS Graduate Employability Scale: IIT Bombay, Delhi, Madras & DU Rank in World’s Top 200

Jumping up by 30 points, IIT Bombay secured the highest ranking in the 2019 QS Graduate Employability Rankings. Except the IITB, IITD, IITM and IIT KGP, Delhi University, Mumbai University, and BITS Pilani Ranked high.

QS Graduate Employability Scale: IIT Bombay, Delhi, Madras & DU Rank in World’s Top 200

The Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Bombay has bagged the first spot this year among Indian Institutes by climbing up nearly by 30 points in London Based QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) world graduate employability rankings.

The IIT Bombay had a score of 141 to 150 last year which they improved by standing at 111-120 in 2019 rankings. The rankings in the sector of ‘Employability’ puts light on the success rate of students on how well they are placed after graduating from the institutes. With this, the IIT Bombay has ranked among the top 24% of the universities from around the world.

The institutes like IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, University of Delhi (DU), IIT Kharagpur, Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani and University of Mumbai followed the top-ranking institute IIT Bombay in the QS Graduate Employability Scale 2019.

The IIT Bombay director Prof Subhasis Chaudhuri rejoiced after the rankings came to public, He thanked all the students, faculty members for having faith in the institute. He informed that the facilities and ambience they provided have won the hearts of employers globally. He informed that the efforts of the institute will improve the rankings further as it already reflected in this year’s rankings.

Mr Chaudhuri has requested the Industrialists and philanthropists to contribute to the growth of IIT Bombay further.

The pro-Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University, Mr Ravindra Kulkarni also expressed his joy when he was contacted to know the reaction on the recent 2019 QS Graduate Employability Rankings. Mr Kulkarni dedicated this success to the Alumni of Mumbai University. He informed that not only in QS Rankings which interviews Mumbai University alumni worldwide before releasing the rankings but also the NIRF has ranked Mumbai University in a high position.

The Indian Universities’ mindsets of development received a hit after no Indian University was ranked in US Based Times’s top 300 University surveys. The 2019 QS Graduate Employability Rankings and QS Institutes Rankings 2019 are expected to boost the determination of development among the top Indian Universities and Institutes.
