CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Weightage 2026 : As per the marking scheme released by the board, the theory subject is divided into two parts, i.e., Parts A and B. the part A is of 60 marks, and part B is of 20 marks. In the final question paper, the questions from Part A will be compulsory and from Part B, you can either choose Analysis of Financial Statements or Computerized Accounting. Part A will have 26 questions (from 1 to 26). These questions consist of MCQs, short, and long types. Part B consists of 8 questions (from 27 to 34). These questions will also be a mix of MCQs, short, and long types. Whereas from the remaining 20 marks allocated to the practical exam, 12 marks are allotted to the project file and 8 marks for the viva.
