JoSAA Partial Admission Fee: The JoSAA Partial Admission Fee (PAF) is vital for college admission to various NITs, IIITs & CFTIs. Students who have been allotted seats during JoSAA allotment and who wish to retain the same are required to pay the JoSAA Partial Admission Fee 2025. This article will help you understand the importance of the Partial Admission Fee (PAF) during the JoSAA counselling 2025!

What is JoSAA Partial Admission Fee?

According to JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling norms, the Partial Admission Fee or PAF is a charge that students must remit to verify their assurance on a reserved seat, mainly in the NIT+ model (NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs), once the final phase of seat allocation is completed. This fee is completely different from the SAF or Seat Acceptance Fee.

Also, the candidates must remit the fee within the desired deadline on the official JoSAA website. Upon surpassing the fee deadline, the PAF might end up canceling the allocated seat. The PAF is the final process to verify their seat confirmation in the NIT+ module. Aspirants with an allocated seat in the final phase of JoSAA counselling 2025 and candidates dissatisfied with their choice can also register in the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling 2025 by contesting for vacant seats.

Students who remit the seat acceptance & partial admission fees during the JoSAA counselling process are adjusted based on the pending college fees over their admission. The PAF is non-refundable once paid, regardless of whether the student withdraws from counselling.

How to Pay JoSAA Partial Admission Fee?

To successfully remit the Partial Admission Fee (PAF) during the JoSAA 2025 counselling, students must visit the official JoSAA portal and check for the final seat allocation. The payment can be made online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI from their official portal. You can also make the offline payment by downloading the e-challan provided by the State Bank of India and processing it at your nearest SBI branch by physical mode.

Follow this 7-step process to remit your JoSAA Partial Admission Fee!

  1. Check out the official JoSAA website portal (https://josaa.nic.in/)

  2. Enter your account by employing your JEE Main/Advanced login credentials.

  3. Hover over the seat allocation section on the results page.

  4. Locate the desired payment link to remit the PAF (partial admission fee). You can check it once the seat allotment results are published.

  5. Opt for your desired payment mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-challan).

  6. Finish setting up your payment protocols as instructed in the payment gateway to complete the transaction procedure.

  7. Click to download the provisional seat allotment letter for confirmation & future reference.

FAQs

5. What occurs when the Income Certificate is not submitted?

Your seating placement or fee plan may change if you are no longer eligible for EWS reservation perks and remitting college expenditures.

4. Can the candidates apply for CSAB once they complete JoSAA?

Yes, you can! For more details, feel free to check https://csab.nic.in.

3. Does this cost differ from the regular tuition payment for your college?

Indeed, it’s quite possible that the charge you are inquiring about is not included in the educational costs for the program. While additional costs sometimes cover items like lodging, meals, registration, or supplies, tuition payments largely support the expense of academic training.

3. What do PAF & SAF stand for?

In JoSAA counselling 2025, PAF means Partial Admission Fee, and SAF refers to Seat Acceptance Fee.

2. After spending half the entry expense, is it possible for me to modify my assigned seat?

No, purchasing for this indicates that you have taken the place that was assigned. Only in CSAB extra stages (if relevant) are additionally permitted; they are not forbidden during JoSAA.

1. What exactly does the partial admission fee for JoSAA mean?

Before physically attending the educational institution, you must make payments beforehand to ensure your assigned place.

Yes, you can definitely get a seat in LPU’s CSE branch even if you scored 57,000 rank in AP EAMCET, especially since LPU does not depend on EAMCET rank for admission. LPU mainly considers LPUNEST scores and Class 12 marks, not state entrance ranks. Being a girl candidate from the SC category may further improve your chances because LPU promotes inclusive admission and provides additional scholarship benefits. As long as you meet the basic eligibility and complete the admission steps on time, you should easily get a CSE seat at LPU.
