PSEB Board Passing Marks Criteria 2025 for classes 10 and 12 is to score a minimum of 33% in each subject and in an overall aggregate to pass the exams. Separate passing marks are required for theory and practical/internal assessments to pass the board exam. Check all details here.

PSEB Board Passing Marks Criteria 2025:To pass the PSEB Class 10th, you will have to score at least 80 marks for the theory and 20 marks for the internal assessment, which leads to a total of 33% in each subject and in aggregate score as well. The passing marks criteria for the PSEB 12th are the same except for some subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, where 70 marks are for theory and 30 for practicals/internals. Students of PSEB 12th class also need to score at least 33% in each subject and in aggregate score. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 10th exams are based on a total of 650 marks, where students need to appear for 6 subjects. Whereas class 12th students of the Punjab Board have to appear for 5 subjects in total, each carrying 100 marks. Students need to take 4 compulsory subjects, with students from the Arts and Science stream choosing 3 elective subjects and Commerce students opting for 4 elective subjects. Passing Marks Criteria for PSEB Class 10

Group A of the PSEB 10th exam consists of compulsory subjects: Punjabi, English, Hindi, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences. All these subjects are compulsory for all students. Group B of the PSEB 10th exam comprises elective subjects from which students need to choose any anyone subject. The theory paper of each subject carries a total mark ranging from 50 to 100, where the passing marks range from 16.25 to 33. Passing Marks Criteria for PSEB Class 12

The passing marks criteria for Punjab Board 12th students depends on the stream they have chosen. The PSEB 12th Science stream subjects have 70 marks theory exam and 30 marks practical and internal assessments. Out of 70, the minimum passing marks criteria is 23, while out of 30 students need to score at least 10 marks. Each subject in the commerce stream carries 80 marks in theory and 20 marks in project works/internal assessments. Out of 80, the minimum passing mark is 26, and 7 is the minimum score of 20 marks. The PSEB 12th Arts stream comprises a varied range of subjects where the maximum marks range from 50 to 80 in theory papers and the minimum marks from 10 to 26.
