The WB ANM & GNM 2025 examination will be conducted on October 19, 2025. Students can visit the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) @ wbjeeb.in to download their WB ANM & GNM 2025 Admit Card from October 10, 2025, onwards . On the day of the WB ANM GNM examination, students will be required to carry their WB ANM GNM hall ticket 2025 and a valid ID proof to get entry to the examination hall.

Through the WB ANM GNM 2025 exam , students can take admission to the basic healthcare and nursing courses in West Bengal. To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, the WBJEEB has laid down certain WB ANM and GNM 2025 important examination rules and guidelines that all students must follow while appearing for the WBJEE ANM GNM examination 2025. Students must follow the ANM dress code in West Bengal, which ideally requires them to wear white shirts and a pair of black trousers/pants.

On the day of the examination, students must ensure they reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. It is advisable to visit the examination centre a day before to make sure everything is clear. The following are some of the critical guidelines that the students must follow on the examination day:

Verification Process

Students will have to undergo a verification process before they are allowed to enter the WB ANM GNM exam hall. The invigilator will check the admit card and the identity proof of the student. Students must carry a government-issued identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Passport, or Driving License, along with the admit card.

Reporting Late

Students who report late to the examination hall will not be allowed to enter the hall under any circumstances. Therefore, students are advised to reach the examination center well before the reporting time.

Dress Code

Students must adhere to the ANM GNM entrance exam dress code when appearing for the exam. Wearing any kind of jewellery or accessories is prohibited as per the WB ANM dress code. Ideally, students are advised to wear a white shirt and a pair of black trousers/pants to adhere to the ANM dress code in West Bengal to avoid frisking at the examination hall.   • The answer sheet for the ANM and GNM examination will consist of multiple-choice questions, and students must answer them within the given time frame.

  • Students must use a black ballpoint pen to mark their answers on the OMR sheet provided to them.

  • There will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded, and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

  • Students must answer the questions carefully and avoid guesswork to avoid negative markings.

  • Students must ensure that they fill in the OMR sheet correctly and avoid any overwriting or incorrect marking.

  • Any discrepancy in the OMR sheet may lead to an incorrect evaluation of the answer sheet, and the board will not entertain any requests for re-evaluation.

  • After the completion of the examination, students must hand over the OMR sheet to the invigilator.

  • Also, students must keep a printout of their WB ANM GNM 2025 admit card for future reference.

What to Carry to the WB ANM and GNM 2025 Test Centre?

Students should carry some of the documents provided below while going to the exam centre

  • A printed copy of the admit card of ANM(R) & GNM-2025.

  • A copy of the colour photograph that was uploaded during the online application.

  • Any photo identity card in original, such as an Aadhaar card/PAN card / Passport/ 10th standard admit card/ School – ID card/ Voter ID/ Ration Card with Photograph/ Bank Passbook with a Photograph/ Any other Valid Govt. Identity card With Photograph.

What not to Carry to the WB ANM and GNM 2025 Exam Centre?

Inside the test hall, students are not permitted to bring any written or printed materials, calculators, pens, log tables, wristwatches, or communication devices such as cell phones. Any student caught in possession of such materials will be reported and his or her candidacy will be automatically cancelled.
