Academic Audit at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala

The Academic Audit Committee of Krishna district conducted an Academic audit at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala on 4-April-2016 . The academic audit was conducted by N.M.Maheswari, English lecturer, Y.S Degree College, Narsapur, Dr.D.Siva Sankar Rao, Economics lecturer, JKC College, Guntur and M.Srinivasa Rao, Commerce lecturer, SRR&CVR Government Degree College, Vijayawada. They visited the college and assessed various things.

The audit committee checked the records of the college and details related to seminars conducted in the academic year 2015-2016. They also assessed the project works done by the students as a part of the curriculum. They visited the NSS and NCC wings of the college and interacted with the coordinators about various activities conducted in the current academic year. The committee also observed the college library and various facilities in the college. they interacted with college faculty about the academic outcomes. College principal explained about the placements in college. The committee would submit its report to the Krishna University.

The audit committee appreciated the college management for a good placement percentage and improvements in infrastructure facilities. They also appreciated the NSS unit for conducting various social activities. The committee advised the faculty of the college to inculcate practical approach of learning among students for better results. The committee thanked the College principal, M.Vijaya Lakshmi for giving her support and cooperation for academic audit.

College principal said, “they would function more effectively from the next academic year by providing a lot of facilities for the students. The college is doing its best in assuring 100% placements”. She thanked the audit committee for their feedback.
